CHOOSING YOUR AGENT
When a person seeks out the services of a Realtor, they do so for the same reasons they employ the assistance of a CPA, doctor or an attorney; they require the skills of a competent "professional". There are substantial differences in any of these respective fields as to how one earns the right to call themselves "professional". Recognizing that you are in the process of choosing the services of a "Realtor", you need to be aware of these differences.
Attorneys, doctors, and CPA's earn their credentials by a substantial investment of time, money and education and are only titled "professionals" after their respective professions deem that they are qualified to do so. Realtors, on the other hand, pay no dues to their industry to earn the title of a "professional" or an "expert" despite the fact that their experience and knowledge of the profession may be minimal, at best!
With this in mind, it is important to have a clear understanding of whom you are employing when you choose the services for your Real Estate Agent. The following information will exemplify my qualifications leading to titling myself a "Professional Real Estate Agent".
